    InaJEMD: Indonesian Journal of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes publishes scientific articles on research results and Case Reports in the field of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and diabetes. Vol. 2 No. 1 (July 2025) contains 13 articles, consisting of 2 original research and 11 case reports, written by authors from various medical institutions and hospitals in Indonesia.

    Contributors to this edition include the Faculty of medicine, specialist medical education programs, and teaching hospitals such as YARSI University, Brawijaya University, Andalas University, Sebelas Maret University, North Sumatra University, Gadjah Mada University, Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo, and several other Endocrinology service centers.

    Topics raised include thyroid carcinoma cell culture, glycemic control constraints in Type 2 diabetes, parathyroid disorders, detection of insulinoma lesions using PET/CT, primary thyroid lymphoma, gynecomastia and galactorrhea in elderly men, agranulocytosis due to antithyroid drugs, hashitoxycosis, multiple autoimmune syndromes, to pituitary adenomas in patients with severe comorbidities. This edition demonstrates InaJEMD's commitment in presenting clinical studies and research relevant to endocrinology practice in Indonesia.

    InaJEMD: Indonesian Journal of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes Vol. 1 No. 2 (December 2024) contains a total of 11 articles, consisting of 1 original article, 8 case reports, and 2 review articles. The contributors come from various institutions across Indonesia, with clinical and academic backgrounds in Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, and medicine.

    This edition features a highly clinical topic focus, beginning with an original article that provides a systematic review and meta-analysis comparing therapies for Graves' disease (anti-thyroid, radioactive, and surgical). Furthermore, there are in-depth clinical case reports such as secondary hypogonadism in craniopharyngioma, the diagnostic and management approach for recurrent hypocalcemia, adrenal adenoma resulting from congenital adrenal hyperplasia, Riedel's thyroiditis, parathyroid carcinoma with hungry bone syndrome, adult-onset nesidioblastosis, as well as complications like depression and paraparesis in Graves' patients with thyroid cancer, and Guillain-Barré Syndrome in patients with Type 2 diabetes. Two review articles complete this issue, discussing the comparison of lung X-ray findings in tuberculosis with and without diabetes, and a review of tirzepatide as a dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist for the treatment of Type 2 diabetes and obesity in clinical practice.

    The inaugural issue of InaJEMD: Indonesian Journal of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Diabetes Vol. 1 No. 1 (July 2024) presents a total of 11 articles focusing on clinical aspects and challenges within endocrinology and diabetes in Indonesia. This edition is composed of 1 original article, 7 case reports (including 1 case series), 1 review article, and 1 clinical practice article.

    The topics covered are highly varied, including a trend analysis of the clinical characteristics of COVID-19 in diabetic patients, as well as in-depth case reports on conditions such as diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) as an initial manifestation, the role of severe hypokalemia in worsening DKA outcomes, the management of idiopathic panhypopituitarism, and primary adrenal insufficiency due to tuberculosis infection. Complex thyroid cases are also highlighted, such as Hypokalemia Periodic Paralysis in subtle thyrotoxicosis and pregnancy following radioactive iodine ablation. Complementing the clinical content, there is a review on the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Diabetes Mellitus management in Indonesia, along with practical guidance on the management of severe hypertriglyceridemia.
